A more tranquil version of 'The Tainted Legions of Angmar' [link]

Drawn from unused menu desktop concept image for the expansion pack for 'The Battle for Middle-Earth II'; 'The Rise of the Witch King'

I wanted to draw this image but doing it in graphite pencil would have been a waste, theres so much colour. So i decided to buy a new set of colour pencils especially for this piece. I may also do some more colour work in the future.


This Deviation was drawn by me but is part of the collective gallery of The LotR Club :iconthelotrclub:

Wow you've really put a lot of effort into this drawing, it is really good. I especially like the difference in detail between the background and the foreground. Very nice shading as well.

I think it just makes it better. First of all it adds focus to the image, and secondly it adds a nice balance as it looks like a different painting style :D
